latcui 3.50 – our Last Supper of 2011 (+ Masked Beasts party this Friday)
OnDecember 13, 2011
Last week
We have decided to leave Latitudinal dinners for the rest of the year.
Thanks to everyone for their feedback, suggestions and warm thoughts on where to journey next.
This week
Join us on in Shoreditch on Friday 2nd December to celebrate the birthdays of a cluster of Saggitarean Latitudinals – Alex, Sinead, Stefan and Emma.
The theme is Masked Beasts: think fur & feathers and fleshy protuberances; wings & tails & hooves & horns & grotesque creatures of the night – all masked, of course
There’ll be DJs (including the great Conrad Ollende and the brilliant Paula Coughlan) & dancing and monstrous debauchery.
No entry without a mask and a beastly body part (it’s easier than cooking;))
As Lee writes, “in deference to the huge quantities of ocean and Greenland Sea (Iceland), and small (yet nonetheless tasty & relevant) landmasses of Fuertaventura (Spain) – & bits of the West African coast along our particular week’s co-ordinates, Camille & I have chosen to specify the following for our dinner:
1. No cutlery. All food must be consumable with fingers.
2. Communal dining. All food must be sharable with your neighbours, maybe even feeding each other (!)
3. Finally, in a nod to the Feast of Our Lady Of Guadaloupe, which falls on the date of our dinner, if anyone would like to hide/reveal the image of a face in their culinary creation, that would be awesome.”
